Alexander was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Aside from brief stints living in Toronto and Vancouver, that’s where he’s been his whole life. He released his novel, Lucifer, in 2014, and regularly contributed book reviews to Thunder Bay’s arts and culture magazine, The Walleye, from 2015 to 2020.
He started writing essays in 2021 as an outlet to develop and better express his opinions on a wide variety of issues, and does his best to thoroughly research topics to give difficult and divisive issues the nuance and care they deserve. To not get stuck dealing only with certain issues, he regularly cycles between literary, medical, social, and political topics.
